Course Introduction

Business Communication Masterclass

The Business Communication Masterclass will give your team an edge to be more effective, efficient, satisfied and fulfilled through communication. It lays the groundwork for growth, innovation, and contribution and gives your team members the most important skill set they can develop. It is well documented that misunderstandings lead to breakdowns in morale, loss of trust, ineffectiveness, wasted time and money, frustration, thwarted careers, stressful relationships, hostile workplace environments, and disconnection.

Your team members gain conversational acumen through understanding their own behavioral and preferred communication style, as well as learning to recognize and adapt to the preferred communication style of others, resulting in a dramatic increase in their effectiveness.

Additionally, they begin to learn the technology of Conversational Intelligence®, the Neuroscience of Conversations®, and how to speak for impact. This training allows them to begin to recognize and intervene with their automatic, brain-generated reactions to others, and uncover their conversational blind spots, all of which greatly reduce and limit their effectiveness when undistinguished.

Putting these 2 key skill-sets together enables your teams to take the lid off their effectiveness in sales, business meetings, and one-on-one conversations of any context.

Instructor Bio

Janet Zaretsky

Janet is a two-time TEDX and Keynote Speaker, master professional business coach, corporate trainer, International Coach Federation member, Certified Conversational Intelligence Coach, Certified in Behavioral Style Instruments, a graduate of Coach U, former senior program leader for Landmark Worldwide, co-founder of Impact Speaking Lab who has worked with over 32,000 people over 24+ years.

“As a serial entrepreneur continuously creating the future, my participation with Andrew & Janet in their Leadership & Communication courses compelled me to really get where I’m coming from, how I occur for friends, family, and stakeholders in my business, and how the technology of language enables a world where everyone wins. Whether I’m having a conversation with my 3-year-old daughter or presenting to a Fortune 100 executive board inside the context of the COVID crisis, the presence, skills, and strategies I developed have significantly broadened and deepened my personal and professional experiences well beyond understanding and being understood.   Constantly straddling sales and operations in my business, applying the frameworks I learned enables me to quickly shift to provide context and value for my audience, leave behind what matters most, and as a result, I’ve become a servant leader to my team while sales and fundraising efforts have increased by an order of magnitude. I’m forever grateful to Janet and Andrew and can’t say enough good things about their powerful contributions to me and mine.” Jason Stoddard, Verimos, Inc. dba Korus Collective co-Founder, CCO

Andrew has coached more than 10,000 people in individual and group settings for over 16 years and, he is an expert in training people to communicate effectively. Andrew has owned several businesses, managed and grown several multi-million-dollar businesses.

Testimonial

“Working with Andrew has been an experience like no other I have had in my 30-year career. I have been using mentors and coaches throughout my entire career and no one has helped me produce more relevant outcomes in sales and personal growth as quickly as he has.” I will be using Andrew for years to come.”  John Cox, Vice President, Alliant

“Janet & Andrew’s communication course was a transformational experience for me.  As an entrepreneur and social impact investor, I have had many opportunities to speak to different audiences, but found myself shying away from opportunities to really put myself out there.  Their unique experiential learning environment allowed me to connect deeply with my audience, and to reliably move people into action through the words I spoke.  It also allowed me to manage my fear of public speaking and now I can authentically connect with my audience every time I speak.  I highly recommend it!” – John Thornborrow, Founder, Austin Impact Capital

“The tools and coaching provided in Janet & Andrew’s communication course is truly something I will never get over. Seriously. I’ve been doing public speaking since I was in 7th grade and I can say that there was my life and communication before doing this course and now there is my life and communication after. While their framework is designed to prepare you to talk with anyone, from an individual to a massive audience, I find myself using it today as I draft a contract proposal. I get that if I take on getting beyond my automatic ways of thinking and deliberately create my purpose, how I want to relate to others, who I am for myself and what this opportunity represents, I will be unstoppable!  This was truly life changing and I recommend it with total enthusiasm.” Brandi Clark-Burton, Founder & Chief Inspiration Officer, The Austin Common
